The contact lens fitting is an additional step in the eye exam and is used to determine the centering and movement of your contacts on your eyes, as well as measuring the curvature of your cornea. There are many different types of contact lenses and the goal of the fitting is to find the most appropriate contacts for your optimal eye health, vision, and comfort.

Annual contact lens examinations are necessary for maintaining the health of your eyes. It’s important to make sure that your lenses are still fitting properly and that your eyes are receiving enough oxygen. In Colorado, contact lens prescriptions expire one year from the date of your fitting.

Our contact lens department offers a wide range of contact lenses, including hard to fit and specialty lenses such as toric, bifocal, and monovision in both soft and gas permeable contact lenses. Keratoconus and scleral lenses are also available.
